NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
Your appointment with Dr Keeley will be held at either his main consulting rooms in Kogarah or at the Menai location. To ensure a smooth process, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete the new patient health questionnaire or, if preferred, you can fill out the online form in advance (link below).
When you come for your appointment, please remember to bring the following:
- A referral letter from your GP, other medical specialist or physiotherapist*
- Medicare card, DVA card
- Private Medical Insurance information
- Any available reports, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans
- List of current medications
During your consultation, Dr Keeley will conduct a thorough physical examination. To ensure the examination is as comfortable and efficient as possible, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the affected areas. This will help Dr Keeley assess your condition accurately and provide the best possible care for you.

RETURNING PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
Dr Keeley is dedicated to ensuring your continued care and recovery. To schedule a follow-up appointment, simply call the rooms on 02 9587 4720, or email: admin.drkeeley@orthotrauma.com.auand mention that you are a returning patient. Make sure your contact and insurance details are up to date, and if you have a patient identifier, provide it to streamline the process.
For your follow-up appointment, bring any new referrals (A new referral may be required if your previous one has expired), updated medical records, and a current list of medications. Dr Keeley will review your progress, conduct any necessary examinations, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Wear loose, comfortable clothing for easy access to the area being examined and come prepared with any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss.
INTERSTATE, AND TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS
Dr Keeley offers flexible options for patients who are located outside the region or require remote consultations. If you’re traveling from interstate, we can help coordinate your appointments to fit your schedule and make your visit as smooth as possible. For those unable to attend in person, Dr Keeley provides telehealth consultations, allowing you to receive expert advice and care from the comfort of your home.
During your telehealth appointment, Dr Keeley will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and develop a personalised treatment plan, just as if you were in the clinic. Our team will guide you through the setup process to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether in-person or online, we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of care to all patients.
What you need for a telehealth consultation
- A computer with a webcam/microphone (integrated into your computer or plug in) OR a smart phone OR tablet. Please ensure you have a reliable high speed internet connection.
- Skype will be used to perform the video call. Please follow the instructions below to setup Skype or Zoom for the call.

CONSULTATION FEES
Face to face consultations attract a fee which is reimbursed, in part from Medicare. Sandywill process your claim at the time of you the consultation, and the rebate will be deposited directly back into your bank account.
Dr Keeley’s consultation fees are:
- New consultation fee is $300
- Review consultation fee is $170
Dr Keeley offers reduced fees for pensioners, healthcare card holders, and individuals requiring financial assistance, ensuring high-quality care is accessible to everyone. For patients without private health insurance, there is the option to self-fund procedures. During your consultation, Dr Keeley will provide a clear breakdown of the costs involved, giving you all the information needed to make an informed decision about your treatment.
